Disliked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy
For the amount of money that I spent this should have been a lot better. First off, I received a text telling me I could check in at three. I arrived at the condo (3:45) with groceries and stood in the sun (90 degrees) for 15 minutes with my food while I waited for management to come and open the door because it won’t open until 4 PM. The condo was lacking basic supplies like trash bags, kitchen towels, etc. there were no carpets in the entire condo. We were on a beach. You bring sand in with you from a beach no matter how hard you try to rinse it all off. By the end of the five days, there was so much sand. I could barely stand it. I swept, but of course there was no dustpan. There was also no remote for the TV in the main living area. I never could get the master TV to work either. I called and complained and was told that they would bring me a trash bag and some extra towels the following day, which never arrived. I had housekeeping come in two days prior to check out to tell us that we were supposed to have left already and that they were there to clean the room. I showed them my receipt that no, we had two more days instead she wanted me to contact management and sort it out. Unreal. I contacted management and left a lengthy voicemail only to never get a response. On our last day once again housekeeping arrived at 9 AM even though checkout is at 11. Does anybody know what they’re doing there? We had a three bedroom condo and there were only four dinner plates to use.
