One suggestion I have is about the pool, I realized that the pool always had bugs, plastic, cigarettes, and hair. They need to pass the pool net daily and also add a bit more chlorine. Another recommendation I have is that the hotel should remove the carpet for the hallways to the rooms because they are outdoor and always get wet due to weather and also people coming from the beach or pools. This caused a weird stench in certain parts of the hallways. They should also check the piping for the bathrooms because there was smell coming from the sinks and toilet. Other than that everything was great and I enjoyed my stay !

This property is on the beach - within a 5 minute walk. That is the plus side. Overall, the property is old and not well maintained. Our room had water damage on the ceiling, stains on the wall, stains on the comforter and bed linens, mold on the curtains, and rust in many places including the tub and sink. The mattresses are so thin that you can feel the springs in your back when you move. The mini fridge door was off its hinges and did not close properly. The “water park” looks amazing in the photos online, but in reality it is small and also run down. The front desk staff was ok. When we told them about the room issues, they offered to bring up new linens but would not make the bed. It was a busy weekend for them, so no opportunity to change rooms. Parking is limited. There is a parking structure for overflow but it is the worst layout - super small levels with sharp turns; lots of backing up in the structure so other cars can get out. Stress inducing to say the least. There is a restaurant onsite that we did not try and a pizza counter. Otherwise, you have to drive to get to other options. Will not be staying here again.

Wonderful location on the north side of the beach. Will need to drive to get to boardwalk and Broadway at the Beach. Overall great Resort with plenty for little children to do. Really didn’t need to leave my 7 year old loved it. Arcade, water park, and pizza right on the resort!!

The shower curtain had mold in it. The bathroom is very small. No cleaning was done the 3 days we stayed. Had yo go to the front desk for towels, toliet paper, etc The accessibility to the beach was excellent, the pool area was clean.

After seeing some reviews online I was concerned about staying at this property but I took the chance and I am happy I did. While the resort rooms may need to be updated, they are clean and accommodating. The resort staff was ALWAYS cleaning the premises to stay on top of the sand and moisture of being on the beach. They were all very friendly. While the room didn't have as many towels or pillows as we would have like, whatever we needed they provided for us. The water park is not directly in front of the hotel like the pictures may suggest but its next door and a short walking distance. It was perfect for my 5 and 6 year old cousin. The breakfast buffet is at the associated hotel next and good for the value. On Fridays, they do a Bluey breakfast buffet. The restaurant in the hotel is newly opened and with its chic interior almost looks misplaced for a family friend hotel. The food was delicious! I think if your expectations are realistic for a family friendly hotel on the beach with good value, good kid amenities that just hasn't been renovated in a while, you won't be disappointed. I wasn't. Its a good location of Myrtle Beach too!

It was great that there were multiple pools, both indoor and outdoor that the depth levels were different so every type of swimmer had a pool for their comfort. There were options for babies starting at 2 feet all the way to 9 feet. The Waterpark was a great option with the lazy river. The beach added yet another option and experience. My only complaint was that houes keeping needed to service rooms daily to maintenance the sand and need for fresh towels. Seems like were were constantly trying to get towels or clean our floor . Also the toilet and shower in the bathroom is a very tight space be prepared to squeeze in

I absolutely love the amenities. but they need to upgrade the rooms. My T.V had a black line across it. As well as we have to take our own trash out. As much money as they charge. They should take care of that. And the beds are not comfortable.

1) The pics on the internet of the rooms look like brand new rooms. Our deluxe queen rooms were definitely not new or even remodeled. Floors were dirty. 2) Water park looked huge with slides big enough for entire family to enjoy. The slides were definitely for preteen children. Also, was told that North Point "owned" water park but had to walk through the Dunes who actually owned park. 3) Limited parking spaces due to hotels parking being used for restaurant for outside guests. We had to circle around parking lot one of the times for about 10 minutes until a space came open to park our vehicle.

Terrible wouldn’t recommend anyone to stay here ..

Our stay was not as good as we was expected.. our first night we had a little boy pee at our door .. the staff didn’t take care of the situation and we had to deal with stinky pee smell when we would go in and out of our room .. We never ever got any towels when we would tell them we needed them .. we also had to call and complain of someone one fighting and had security and a police office to check it out so we didn’t have a very good time on our hotel stay .. I feel my trip and my payment was a waste of time and hated the whole trip ..
