Upon arrival we found that the floors were dirty and the room smelled like wet dogs and sweat. We notified Michelle who immediately contacted her cleaner and had her come back out. We went back out for the night and when we came back to the room we found that the floors still were not clean, the room still smelled and found that the sponge left for cleaning dishes was old and nasty. We notified Michelle again and sent follow up pictures. Nothing was done after that to correct the issue. Everything else in the room was clean. The bed was very comfy. The fridge is not a full size fridge, so we were unable to place our leftover pizza box in the fridge. Luckily I had brought some ziplock bags. The freezer has no ice machine and there was ice all over the bottom…it needed to be defrosted and cleaned. The walls/doors and very thin allowing a lot of noise to be heard from the parking area since the door opens up to the parking garage. You could hear car doors close, people talking and room doors closing on and off all night. If you are not a heavy sleeper, I’d suggest ear plugs to get a good nights rest. The plumbing also gets very loud in the shower if the water is not turned to the right spot. It must be like that throughout the hotel because we could hear it from the room above us as well. Overall I’d give the stay. 3 out of 5 because a lot of the issues are beyond the owners control. However, the smell and clean floors need to be taken care of. It made the stay unpleasant.
