Beautiful private, peaceful location with fabulous pool.
Pros: The pool was the highlight. So beautiful and well cared for. The pizza oven would have been a big hit too if we’d had the confidence to use it! We loved the seated area next to the pool where there was a welcome breeze in the hot evenings. The large sun room was beautifully furnished and very restful. Very comfortable bedrooms and all a good, generous size. Responsive and helpful host.
Cons: There was a local power cut which was not anybody’s fault, but the power cut out two other times in the week as well which was a little frustrating. Federico was always very helpful and responsive though.
It was a little awkward having two kitchens - the one in the house where we did most of our cooking but the dishwasher and a larger fridge in the outside kitchen meant quite a lot of to and fro. More cooking equipment eg a decent cheese grater, better chopping boards etc would make cooking easier.
