We booked this apartment mainly because of its beautiful view and large terrace, which were definitely the highlights of our stay. The sea view and sunsets are stunning.
The check-in instructions were clear overall, but it should be mentioned more clearly that the key lockbox is located at a different street number, not at the apartment itself.
Unfortunately, several issues affected our stay. The terrace could hardly be used during the day because the awning could not be fully extended due to what appeared to be an installation issue. The outdoor air conditioning unit is also located on the terrace and is quite noisy.
The biggest problem was the air conditioning. It only cooled the hallway, while both bedrooms remained extremely hot, making it very difficult to sleep. The owner kindly provided two fans for our last night, but they did not solve the problem.
The apartment is very basically furnished. For the price, we expected better amenities. The bed linen was not cotton and felt uncomfortable in the summer heat. The shower is very small, and the handheld shower head was broken.
The floor had been vacuumed but not properly mopped, as there was still visible dust. The apartment also seems to need some maintenance.
Finally, be aware that there are many stairs leading to the apartment, so traveling with heavy luggage can be quite challenging.
