We picked this property randomly as a stopover on a long road trip and were only looking for a clean bed. Instead we got a lovely setting, kind and hospitable hosts, and an excellent dinner. We highly recommend if you enjoy family run inns with charm and hospitality. We weren’t traveling with children, but this would be a great place to stay with a family.

A very nice overnight stay

We had a very nice overnight stay on our way back home through Sweden. The hotel is well-situated in the middle of nature, just off the highway but far enough to not hear traffic noise. Breakfast offered a small but good selection. Overall a bit pricey but nice.

The restaurant (dinner & breakfast) was very good. Nice surroundings. The room was very simple. We booked a family room with a bunk bed because we travelled with our adult children. This bunkbed turned out to be only suitable for children however. It would be better if the hotel mentioned this online, instead of saying the room is suitable for 4 adults.

Rummet vi fick var tyvärr väldigt dåligt städat vid ankomst. Redan efter första natten hängde vi upp dörrskylten om att vi önskade städning, men det enda som byttes ut var handdukarna. Det fanns spindelnät runt elementen, nötter låg kvar under nattduksbordet, och det var fullt med hårstrån både i duschen och på lakanen. Frukosten levde heller inte upp till förväntningarna – utbudet var mycket begränsat och motsvarade inte vad man brukar förvänta sig av en hotellfrukost.

Hadde det som overnatting på en transport etappe, veldig fin/koselig plass. Veldig god dobbeltseng. Køysengene derimot trenger virkelig bedre madrasser, for der kjenner du metallet gjennom den tynne madrassen, ellers bra, og ok frukost.

Ett trevligt hotell med mysig miljö för promenader och avskildhet. Helt perfekt som bas om man vill utforska områdena runtomkring. Bra säng, lagom stort rum och frukosten med nybakat bröd var god. Men, ingen fläkt eller luftkonditionering fanns på rummet! Då utetemperaturen var +31 på dagtid blev det outhärdligt varmt i rummet. Jag har funderat på att ha detta som bas under ett par dagar, men bestämde mig ganska snabbt att det inte funkade. Synd, på ett annars trevligt ställe!
