This was the Best experience we had during our stay at Taj. We were pampered thoroughly with the hospitality ,satisfied with delicious cuisine and were made to feel special during our stay . Our room was decorated with balloons for our wedding anniversary and delicious cake was waiting for us in the room.Room had a spectacular sea view and it was kept spotless clean decorated with rose petals. Every bit of Romance created in the atmosphere and we felt the well wishes of everyone whom we connected with.

Taj experience

It was overall a underwhelming experience. We chose the Taj Palace as it is meant to be ‘ the hotel’. But I think apart from the name and the location, we have definitely stayed in better 5 star hotels. I’m glad we didn’t chose to spend our entire trip at the Taj- it seems more catered to the taste of foreign Individuals. The staff- whilst very friendly and helpful, overall aren’t as warm and welcoming as we found at other 5 star hotels- there’s a certain tension you feel, perhaps due to the various guests they have to please. It’s one of those things ticked off the list- but certainly won’t be rushing back . The food, condition of the rooms, staff etc are much much better at other hotels in Mumbai particulalry The Fairmont. The buffet especially was relatively underwhelming and it honestly beggars belief that pastry chefs in India can’t manage to make many egg free options - honestly?
