The room, bed and carpet were very clean and respectable. The bed side stands could be improved with larger ones and the Venetian slats on the window need replacing and the trim around the fan needs securing. In the man’s bathroom… there needs to be clothes hooks installed to hang clothes and stand or small table needs to be next to the basin in order to place bathroom items whilst shaving.

The TV did not work at all. Hotel staff couldn't get it to work either. This meant our children could not watch a movie etc each night for entertainment. This was a major disappointment.

Rug up for a toilet trip

All fine, except we were surprised by the shared bathroom situation. On the Hotels.com listing, the room is described as having a bathroom. Nowhere does the word 'shared' appear. We showed the staff, who were surprised, but there were no vacant rooms. The shared bathrooms were clean, but required a walk outside in +2C temperatures.
