We cannot recommend this hotel. It is clean but we struggled with their service and comfort sleeping. This morning the housekeeper came into the room at 8:45 am even though the “do not disturb” sign was there. She knocked and entered immediately despite my partner saying that someone was in there. This was totally inappropriate. We had the room until 11am for check out. She absolutely should not have come in. The first day we arrived the maintenance person let himself into the room without being allowed in just 20 minutes after my partner had gotten there. My partner was in there alone. This was totally inappropriate and potentially dangerous for her. My daughter was staying in a separate room and she was hassled for not having housekeeping one day. On Saturday night at 3AM, some idiot knocked loudly on our door and other doors, looking for someone. It woke us up. Finally, it wasn’t possible to make the room dark due to the extremely bright light just outside the window of room. Overall we had a really lousy experience there and cannot recommend it to anyone. In the future people should have the option to turn down housekeeping. It felt like it was forced on us. It seems illegal that they make daily housekeeping mandatory.
