Welcome to beautiful Mountain Green, Utah where you can unwind at Terrapin Basin, our new construction 2200 sf. townhome. Enter through the attached garage or through the covered front door porch and experience a thoughtful layout and comfortable appointments based on our years of experience staying at ski areas.
Terrapin Basin is a "C" or End Unit which is the larger of the three Roam floor plans. The A and B units each have two flights of stairs and are smaller at 1600 or 1800 sf.
We are not fans of walking up flights of stairs after a day skiing and Terrapin Basin is at ground level and features a first floor ensuite with a new queen mattress on a platform bed. Enjoy a splendid view of the mountains when you open the custom plantation shutters. The second floor guest bedroom is also an ensuite with a new queen mattress and plenty of storage room in the walk in closets and dresser / night stands. The third bedroom has two XL twins with new mattresses and a large closet and dresser for storage.
The loft features a remote work ready stand up desk with large monitor and keyboard/mouse. There is a third bath off the loft . The loft has a pull out leather queen sofa and a 65 inch Samsung wall mounted tv with an Xbox game console and two wired controllers. For that last minute guest there is a twin air bed with linens available for use in the loft closet.
The loft also has a Concept 2 rowing machine if you do not get enough exercise in the Mountains. The internet is strong in all rooms and is boosted with a mesh network.
Snowbasin, home of the 2002 Olympic downhill and Ski Magazine's #1 rated ski resort in 2025, is a short 12 minute scenic drive on well-maintained roads. The views going to and from the resort are awesome. Mountain Green is an easy (30 min) drive or Uber ride from SLC Airport.
The balcony off the loft and front porch look out on Wasatch peaks and over a courtyard featuring a year round hot tub and pool house, firepit and grill area, and seasonal use of a second hot tub, pool, and two pickleball courts. Guest parking is available onsite and nearby at no charge.
All new kitchen appliances including gas oven with griddle, microwave, dishwasher, oversized stainless sink, and new non-stick pans, silverware, dishes & barware. Kitchen well stocked with necessary spices and the new Lee's grocery is walking distance from unit and offers in store sushi, a full bakery, wide beer selection and a hot deli with eat in space along with a full grocery selection.
There is a heavy duty 6-10 person dining room table bridging the kitchen and living room. The electric fireplace will keep you toasty as will the four available throws. There is 75 inch Samsung tv and soundbar with all the usual apps for easy access to programming. The large leather sofa is the perfect space to curl up and relax after a day in the mountains. There is also a wireless Stanmore speaker connected to an amazon echo.
The finished Garage fits one larger vehicle (210 inches or less), and a second smaller car. Garage entryway has a custom built coat, helmet, and boot storage space for easy management of gear. The first floor stacked washer dryer is full sized and located off the garage entryway to help you keep your gear clean and dry. There is a ski rack in the garage along with a boot dryer.
All windows have either customs shades or plantation shutters for privacy. Bathrooms come fully stocked with towels, soap, shampoo & hairdryer. There is also an available steamer to keep you looking sharp.
Driving from the SLC airport Mountain Green, is right off Interstate 84 –– on the Ogden / Salt Lake side of the Trapper's Loop (Route 167), which can take 20 - 30 minutes off your commute to the airport, compared to Huntsville & Eden. Hop on I-84 to head over to Alta and Park City.
Nearby Ogden offers access to vibrant 25'th street and amazing restaurants, shops, entertainment zones and museums. Check out the indoor climbing wall, breweries, and historic Union Station.
