Camellia Lodge is filled with natural light with an open plan living with a split heating system, heated bathroom floors, kitchen, lounge and a comfortable King Size Bed. It also has wonderful views of the gardens.

Located in 24 acres of historical Dennarque Estate gardens, which have been featured in local and international media, and regarded by many as the best cold climate garden in Australia.

The gardens were designed over 140 years ago by the then Royal Botanic Gardens Sydney director, Charles Moore. The Gardens still retain a large number of original plantings from late 1880s that were introduced from various countries around the world.

There are many rare species of maples, rhododendrons, camellias, dahlias and many other exotic and rare plants. A Japanese influenced garden has recently been added to Estate.

Rarely open to the public, the exotic cool climate gardens of Dennarque Estate are best experienced as in-house guests.
There's a private balcony or patio. A kitchen is outfitted with a refrigerator, an oven, and a stovetop. Complimentary wireless internet access keeps you connected, and a Smart television is provided for your entertainment. The bathroom has a shower and a hair dryer. Conveniences include a microwave and a coffee/tea maker.

What a fabulous place!

The accommodation was lovely and exactly as described. The outstanding point of difference with this booking was that we were able to wander around the beautiful grounds alone. The gardens were fabulous. We visited Breenhold gardens on one of our days and it was absolutely packed with people.

Beautiful garden stay

Lovely apartment with views of the wonderful garden estate at Dennarque. Thoroughly enjoyed the peace and relaxation of the place. Hope to return with friends and try the other cottages too sometime!

Weekend at Camelia cottage

Lovely little apartment style accomodation with in a magnificent garden. Very quiet and peaceful. We had a lovely stay and would definitely return there.
