If you like to Hike, there is a local trail 1.5 miles away (Texas school house walking trail) and 10 miles away is gilbert lake State Park with plenty of trails and a Lake and beach. There is no hunting on the property but you can also visit any of the local state parks for that. In the winter you can ride snowmobile or cross-country ski. There are several golf coarse within 15 min of the property. If you just want to relax and take in the views you wont be disappointed . There is fire place inside . There are plenty of outdoor activities with several lakes near by for fishing and boating . If you like beer and wine their is also several wineries and brewery in the area. If you are here for the baseball camps they are both 20 to 25 min away.
