The room was incredibly small for $180/night. The heat was a very loud box unit - quite old, had a bunch of dust on the components, and looked dirty. We tried to sleep without it on, but 5 minutes into it not running and the room was significantly colder. Poor to little insulation against the cold. The blanket on the bed was so thin - what happened to actual duvets? It's dog friendly, but has hard tile floors, so be mindful of this when bringing your dog. We had to bring blankets from our car to pad the bottom of the dog bed we brought. The water was quite literally the hottest water I've ever felt come out of a faucet in all my 34 years - I burnt my hand the next morning when washing my face. Lastly, they don't have simple amenities such as complimentary toothpaste packets (I asked the front desk when I realized I forgot mine) or a breakfast. You could hear every word of the TV above and next to us, as well as their voices. Overall, it's a kinda-run-down motel and they slapped some skis on the wall and wood trim around the windows and claimed a "winter lodge" vibe, but I'm appalled to have spent almost $200 for what we got.

The property was nice and peaceful. Room was clean and did not smell bad at all. Down side was our room was next to the little storage they have but other than everything was great! I would recommend for sure!

Daughter and I needed a place to stay for the night half way through our drive home. Made reservations on hotels for Shasta Inn. Shortly after, Shawna called to get our ETA and advised that the office closed at 9 which was before our arrival. She gave me our check in instructions and once we arrived everything went smoothly. We loved the cute little room and the entire vibe and atmosphere of the Inn. Wish we were staying longer but will definitely be back to stay here again. Cutest little “ski” themed room.
