First let me start by saying, I loved the 2 front desk ladies from 1st and 2nd shift on july 27th 2019. BUT.... One of the nastiest rooms I've ever stayed in. I got a NO smoking room and the room smelt like straight cigarette smoke & my kids found cigarette butts on floor. My kids also found dead & alive bugs in the room. There was a horrible sewer smell that would not go away. I could NOT open my own door. If i needed to go somewhere i needed to go to the front desk and wait for them to come open my hotel door. The bed was so itchy i couldnt even stay the full night. I packed up and got my kids and myself out of there!

The staff were very friendly. The location was not bad for what we were doing which was having a birthday party at the Marina on Lake Cypress...definitely a shout out to this Marina. The room was clean...it does need a little updating. The bathroom light over sink needs a new light. I would prefer more towels...but I know people do take them so I can understand that. You can walk easily to the convenience store and the Huddle House is a great place to eat....walking distance. We had a boat and the parking lot was large and VERY well lighted. We could work on breakfast a little, but it wasn't bad for a traveler. We stayed 4 nights and were pleased with our stay. (Just fix the light in bathroom).... :)
