This pet-friendly 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom retreat features a spacious lawn with a fire pit, a dedicated outdoor grilling area, and custom built-in bunks that give the home a unique, coastal soul. Whether you’re arriving with a trailer, a camper, or an EV, we provide ample parking and a high-voltage outlet to make your logistics easy. Perfectly positioned in Hall Quarry, you are minutes from Acadia's best hidden trails and the local charm of Southwest Harbor, all while enjoying a private yard with room to breathe.

This 1900s Hall Quarry home has a classic MDI layout that's been updated where it counts. You’ll arrive through a dedicated entryway—the perfect spot to drop your gear—which leads into the main living room.

The Living Room: This central gathering spot features comfortable seating, a unique coffee table, and a TV equipped with a Roku and gaming console.

Workspace and Dining: From the living room, the home flows to the left into a dedicated workspace with an antique secretary desk. Beyond the desk is the dining area, anchored by a large antique table perfect for family meals.

Kitchen and Baths: Tucked into the back corner is the kitchen, recently updated with butcher block countertops. A secondary door leads directly from the kitchen to the grilling area, making it easy to prep and enjoy meals outside. We have fully modernized both bathrooms. The downstairs bathroom includes the washer and dryer, while the second full bathroom is located upstairs near the bedrooms.

The Bedrooms: All three bedrooms are located on the second floor. Two of these feature custom built-in bunks, giving the rooms a unique, cozy feel that works well for families or groups looking for that traditional Maine cottage experience. For your comfort, in-window AC units are provided in each bedroom.

Outdoors: The property is designed for spending as much time outside as possible. The main lawn is an expansive open space with a fire pit and Adirondack chairs, ideal for stargazing. The grilling area is accessible directly from the kitchen and features a charcoal grill and picnic table for private cookouts.

Parking: There are two areas for parking, each holding two vehicles. The upper parking area has plenty of room for trailer or camper parking in lieu of parking vehicles. There is a dedicated high-voltage outlet available for plugging in a camper or an EV in that upper area. Please note that you will need to bring your own charging cord and adapter.

Location: Located on the Quiet Side of the island, you’re far enough away from the downtown noise to actually hear the crickets at night.
