Wow! Fantastic stay, superior staff, super friendly, and absolutely peaceful. The lodge is small, about 8 units, in the middle of a reserve with tranquility. The food was absolutely amazing. Animals on site and inspiring. Make a call to be let in the gate when you arrive.

O lugar é muito difícil de qualificar, porque é bastante único! A equipe é impecável, Karina, a proprietária, sempre atenciosa e solícita, a comida é, de fato, maravilhosa como relatam os outros comentários. O atendimento é super individualizado e com atenção aos detalhes. Os passeios oferecidos são muito convenientes, especialmente no período da migração das zebras. O game drive ao por do sol vale muito a pena no dia da chegada, porque é curto e dá uma ideia da dimensão da propriedade. Ficamos por três noites e certamente poderíamos passar mais tempo apenas aproveitando o lugar. Ótima parada entre Maun e Kasane (ou vice-versa) ou no caminho para o Kalahari. Só temos a agradecer à equipe e certamente voltaríamos em uma nova vinda à Botsuana.

Gute Bewertung, aber nicht exzellent. Die Lodge liegt wunderschön mitten in der Natur. Die Zelte sind großzügig gestaltet und gut ausgestattet, sodass man sich insgesamt wohlfühlt. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir das engagierte Personal, das sich große Mühe gibt, den Aufenthalt angenehm zu gestalten. Ein Highlight war unser Night Drive mit Robert – er verfügt über ein beeindruckendes Wissen über die Natur und Tierwelt, was die Tour für uns sehr spannend gemacht hat. Verbesserungspotenzial sehen wir jedoch in einigen Punkten: - Das Frühstück war im Vergleich zu anderen Unterkünften auf unserer Reise – insbesondere angesichts des Preises – eher einfach. - Kaffee gab es nur in Form von löslichem Pulver, was bei dieser Preiskategorie nicht unseren Erwartungen entspricht. - Das Abendessen war zwar qualitativ sehr gut, aber ebenfalls recht hochpreisig im Vergleich zu anderen Lodges. Positiv hervorheben möchten wir die Flexibilität der Unterkunft: Aufgrund einer Erkrankung während unserer Reise konnten wir unsere Buchung unkompliziert um einen Tag verschieben, was uns sehr geholfen hat. Insgesamt stimmt für uns das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis nicht ganz. Auf unserer Reise haben wir deutlich bessere Unterkünfte teilweise zu niedrigeren Preisen erlebt.

Es ist wunderschön dort. Die Zelte sind sehr groß und schick. Die vielen Tiere sind stets uns ständig vertreten. Oscar ist großartig! Das Essen ist sehr lecker und wir hatten 2 wunderbare Tage dort. Auch wenn es etwas teurer ist...es lohnt sich auf jeden Fall!

quiet retreat

Lodge very close to Magadikadi game reserve about 80 km east of Maun. The service and food was excellent. The tented lodge was nice but did not have an Aurconditioner. However most of the tented lodges don’t have AC ( exception Belmond Group). A little downfall was that we were the only guests on that day and we usually love to talk to people

Tolle Unterkunft etwa 1h Stunde von Maun entfernt, in unmittelbare Nähe zwischen den wunderschönen Nationalparks Makgadikgadi und Nxai. Wir wurden freundlich empfangen, waren von den geräumigen und sauberen Unterkünften beeindruckt und hatten abends sowohl morgens sehr leckeres Essen, auf Anfrage auch für Vegetarier. Ein schöner Ort um Urlaub zu machen, der Sternenhimmel und die Tierwelt perfektionierten dieses Erlebnis.
