Before You Book: A Note About Farm Life
Our property is located on a five-acre working family farm just one minute from downtown Moscow. Here you’ll enjoy a taste of country life while remaining close to town.
Because this is a real working farm, you may experience some of the sights, sounds, and smells that come with farm living. Chickens have opinions, cows occasionally contribute fertilizer to the fields, and livestock don’t always observe quiet hours. Depending on the season, you may also encounter a little mud and farm equipment.
Throughout the year, you may see cattle, sheep, chickens, steers, and sometimes baby animals. Many of our animals are 4-H projects belonging to our children, and you may see them being cared for during your stay.
For everyone’s safety, please do not enter barns, animal pens, pastures, or fields without permission. Children should always be supervised around livestock.
Interested in meeting the animals? Just ask! Depending on the season, we may be able to arrange a supervised visit or even bottle-feeding opportunities for calves or lambs.
One other thing to note: our farm sits near Highway 95. This convenient location means you’re only about a minute from Moscow, but it also means you may hear some traffic noise from the property.
If you’re looking for a perfectly silent, manicured country retreat, we may not be the right fit. But if you enjoy stunning views, farm animals, sunsets, star-filled skies, and a genuine farm experience just minutes from town, we think you’ll love Reece Farm Retreat.
