The Space:

From the moment you arrive, the sweeping outlook from the apartment’s huge lounge windows will transport your cares away. Watch the working fishing fleet head out to sea, soak in the romance of golden sunsets, and marvel at the ever-changing Northumberland light.



This stylish third-floor apartment is reached via the main entrance with stairs or lift access. Leave coats and shoes in the hallway and head straight for the open-plan living space, where the panoramic sea views steal the show. The lounge offers plush seating for relaxing with a book, a Smart TV for cosy evenings in, and a dining table set for four.



The sleek, contemporary kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need - including an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine, and even a washer/dryer.



There are two beautifully appointed bedrooms: a generous master with a super-king-size bed, dual-aspect windows, ample wardrobe space, and a stylish en-suite with walk-in shower; and a twin bedroom with plenty of storage.



A modern family bathroom with a ‘P’-shaped bath and overhead shower completes the layout.



Step outside onto the private balcony, furnished with a table and chairs - perfect for a morning coffee as the harbour wakes, or an evening glass of wine while the sun dips behind the castle. Private off-road parking for two cars is provided, with covered bike storage available.

Guests have access to the full apartment.



Becalmed is located on the third floor. The apartment is accessible via both lift and stairs.



The keys to Becalmed are accessed via a key safe box. Further instructions will be added prior to check-in.



Off-road parking is available for one vehicle in an allocated, undercover space.

Getting Around:

The nearest train station to Amble is Alnmouth. It's a major station on the East Coast and Cross Country lines and is a short taxi or bus ride from Amble. Alnmouth Train Station has direct services operating to locations across the UK including Edinburgh, Leeds, London, Newcastle upon Tyne and Plymouth.



Alnmouth itself is also a popular stop for tourists visiting Alnwick Castle and Gardens.



Two bus routes operate in Amble offering access to Alnwick, Ashington, Berwick-upon-Tweed, Morpeth and Newcastle upon Tyne.
