Activities: Mornac-Sur-Seudre is organized around its oyster-fishing port and the medieval streets of its largely pedestrianized historic center (its 14th-century halles, its 12th-century Romanesque church of St Pierre). The white houses - with green or blue shutters - of the former fishermen, lined with hollyhocks, are now home to art galleries and punctuated by artisan workshops (jewelry, candle making...), a glass spinner and small boutiques (decorative objects, clothing, local produce). Night market every Thursday in summer. Fireworks on July 14 and in August.
Depending on the tide, you can go out to sea or kayak from the port, to get closer to nature. Salt marshes, guided tour by the salt-maker.

LA COTE SAUVAGE with its pine and holm oak forest, 20 km of fine sand, a wild, natural area between Royan and La Tremblade, is a playground for surfing, bodyboarding and kitesurfing enthusiasts. The waves are very pronounced in places, promising an invigorating swim.
