Very quiet property and keep up nicely. Friendly staff at desk when I checked in. Made sure I was aware of everything that the hotel had to offer. My room was very nice very clean but I did have one complaint. The shower floor was very dirty and gross and looked like it needed to be replaced.

Room was clean, beds comfy, and bathroom roomy. There is only one window shade that is thin. You can see outside to the parking lot with the shade closed. The parking lot has numerous very powerful flood lights which is great at making the outside of the hotel feel safe and that your car is safe. However, these lights also flood the room with light. My room was on the forth floor and above the lights, yet I could read a book in bed with the room lights off and the window shade drawn. I could not fall asleep until 3 am when i was too exhausted for the light to affect me. There needs to be black out curtains on the windows.

Room was not clean, hallways were in need of vacuuming. Our room door was stuck, recently painted (per the staff). One elevator was not working, there was no sign that it was “out of order”, seems like a safety risk. Booking and check-in were very easy and the staff was very professional.

Great hotel, great location, GREAT STAFF!

The day I checked in, I had been having "One of Those Days". Check-in was so easy. I got my key card and went to my room. I couldn't get the door open - and thinking it was lock issue, I went to the front desk. I was told that the doors are heavy and sometimes needed an extra push. That did the trick. I love the rooms at this property- nice size, comfortable bed and pillows. I went to Applebee's next door for dinner (also recommended). When I came back to my room, the door was stuck- I couldn't get in! Went to the front desk, and the night manager came up with me. The security latch on the door had accidently engaged when I had shut the door when I left for dinner. There was no way to get in! The night manager gave me the room next door and said maintenance would be there first thing in the morning to fix my original room. I slept well (nice bed and pillows!), and the door was fixed by the time I ate breakfast (also very good!). Gwen and her staff were so nice and helpful - and very apologetic (which they didn't need to be). I commend them all for the help they gave me. I stay at this hotel whenever I'm in Morgantown!
