Vintage Ridge Retreat with GolfCart & Lake Sunsets

Tucked away in a quiet lakeside community with a GOLF CART! Only 6.4 miles to the heart of downtown Blue Ridge. Hop on the Golf Cart and head on over to the Beach, through neighborhood to Morganton Point Recreational Area where you can enjoy Lake access, public beach, kayak & paddle board rentals, a boat ramp and the most beautiful sunsets. After the beach take the Gold Cart over to Nomads market for lunch and ice cream. Great neighborhood for walking, biking, and easy paved road access. Graced by surrounding mountains, our "Storybook cottage" is made of lovely log construction and exudes time honored charm. A dining nook adjoins an eclectic kitchen that while small, is stocked with everything a cook would want. Two guest bedrooms downstairs lead to an open deck, while a large "sleeping loft" holds 3 twin beds and extra bathroom. Premium Cable. Always excellent wifi and cell service along with large working desk and comfortable chair make it great for working remotely. Guests have access to the entire cabin and surrounding areas. We do however ask that guests avoid the crawl space under the cabin. Our cabin is located in a quiet lakeside community. Morganton Point Recreational area also provides a public beach where you can rent canoes, paddle boards, or just spend the day swimming. Enjoy a peaceful leisurely stroll through the neighborhood, soaking in the scenic Mountain views along gorgeous Lake Blue Ridge and checking out some of the most beautiful homes by the lake. Guests will need a car to get around. OUR RESPONSE TO COVID 19: The health and safety of our guests is our top priority and we have began implementing enhanced health and safety measures for your comfort. We are carefully following the guidance of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO). ****Premium Cable and 40+Mbps: Good for heavy streaming, gaming, and downloading with an extreme number of connected devices We have a pack and play, two single umbrella strollers, and one carrier for hiking that will hold up to a 40lb child. f Child ready: A pack and play, umbrella stroller and safety gate are available for use. Along with a carrier for hiking that will hold up to a 40lb child. There are also toys and books for the little ones as well as BOARD GAMES FOR ADULTS AND TEENS. Going to the Beach: Two beach chairs, beach towels for 7 guests and beach bag are available for use. Pantry Items: We provide salt, pepper, sugar, olive oil, a starter coffee brick with coffee pot filters. As well as different teas to enjoy. Enough Paper towels and toilet paper to last for a long weekend. Hotel Amenities: We offer high-end hotel sized shampoos conditioners as well as body wash and lotion. Such a cozy wonderful retreat. It was clean. So much was provided and in great working condition. There was even a coffee grinder for fresh ground coffee. Beds were comfortable. Host was quick to respond to questions and concerns. I would recommend anyone to stay.

This adorable girl friendly cottage was the perfect place to meet up with a childhood friend I hadn’t seen in about 16yrs. We had a girls weekend and enjoyed everything about this cottage… it was so awesome that we were able to use golf cart to go down to the lake also. The beds were so comfy and just the perfect little cabin feel. We hope to be back. The only negative I’d say is yard space isn’t quite safe with he large slope with mountain for kiddos but r just went to the park downtown and the lake!

Beautiful neighborhood

The house was exactly as listed. It was very clean and everything was nicely decorated. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen is well-stocked so we had everything we needed to cook. It rained all but one day of our stay so we didn’t get to enjoy the beach area, but the neighborhood has beautiful views from the beach area. The roads in the neighborhood are one lane in some places and barely 2 lanes in others, so that’s something to be aware of. Thankfully we only met another car a couple of times. It’s a very quiet area, so it’s perfect if you are looking for a relaxing stay.

A spectacular stay!!! Enjoyed the golf cart rides to the lake, cards/games on the deck, and eating in town at Mike’s bbq and Black Sheep (both the best food I’ve had in a long time). Spring Break Simple Getaway

My husband and I stayed here with our 11-year-old daughter. We found plenty to do around the area, including downtown, the train ride, hiking, fun little golfcart trips around the neighborhood into the lake. Everything was great in the house. It’s always nice to already have seasonings in the kitchen when cooking away from home. This would be a great place to go in the summertime.

Perfect relaxing vacation!

Storybook cottage is completely accurate! So peaceful Perfect for our family of 5. This was the perfect location for our family to get away from it all. Within an hour’s drive of Amicalola Falls, Anna Ruby Falls, Helen - all of which we visited. Downtown Blue Ridge close by was another daytime outing. Rainy day spent inside the cabin was thoroughly enjoyable and became family game day. Cabin had everything we needed for a much needed get away!

Holiday magic

The cottage was lovely, clean and well furnished with a very user friendly kitchen and dining area. We really appreciated the Christmas decor and tree for tne children.They also enjoyed the golf cart to ride down to the lake for wading in the cold water and rock hunting, as well as frisby with their Dad. All in all it was even better than we expected,and was a perfect fit for our holiday budget. We would definitely like to rent it again for family.
