This modern home nestled between the South Mountain Game Lands and South Mountain State Park at about 2,600 feet in elevation, is the perfect retreat for outdoor enthusiasts. Enjoy your morning coffee on the spacious patio with stunning views, then unwind by the fire pit or stargaze in the evening with your favorite beverage.



The space

House with modern vibe features:
• Two bedrooms, one with a comfy king bed and blackout curtains for a restful night’s sleep. The other is a spacious room either one queen bed and two twin bunk beds with a recliner.
• 2 bathrooms
• A well-equipped kitchen with coffee creamer, and sugar are provided. Along with all essential cooking needs.
• A cozy living room with a sofa and chaise lounge, two chairs by the fireplace, and a 65” Smart TV with DVD player. A collection of DVDs, books, and board games are available for lazy days indoors.
• Washer and dryer for your convenience.

Outdoor amenities include:
• An expansive wrap around patio with dining table.
• Adirondack chairs for lounging
• A charcoal grill/smoker (charcoal not guaranteed)
• A fire pit with seating, perfect for roasting s’mores or hot dogs

• Dogs: We welcome up to 2 dogs for an additional fee of $150 per stay. Dogs may not be left unattended. Crates, leashes, bowls, blankets, and towels are provided for your pets.

• Wi-Fi: Starlink service (325+ Mbps) works well at the house. Cell service is spotty, so save your GPS route and entry codes before turning onto Bollinger Gap . Once at the house, enable Wi-Fi calling for reliable service.
• Well & septic: Please flush toilet paper only. No food or grease down the drains. Please be mindful with well water.
• Trash: Must be taken to the local convenience center (3251 US-64, Morganton, NC 28655).
• Parking: plenty of room cars on the gravel area in front of the home. Do not park or drive in grass.
• Mountain setting: Wildlife and insects are common in this area. We provide regular pest control, but you may still encounter ants, flies, mosquitoes, or stink bugs.
