Beautiful house in a beautiful village

Overall, we did enjoy our stay. It’s beautifully decorated with lovely furnishings. It was nice to be left some wine, fruit juice and the best focaccia I have ever tasted. There are just a few suggestions, we would make in order to improve things. Firstly, it would be handy to have a shelf in each bathroom and one within the showers. We had nowhere to put our toilet bags and had to prop them up on top of the toilet cistern. Additionally, as the house is listed as being suitable for 10 people, the seating arrangements should cover this. Outside on the terrace, there are not enough chairs for everyone to sit together. We had to take chairs from around the dining table to sit outside. There are also not enough chairs around the dining table so once again, we had to borrow chairs from other areas if we were dining inside. The main issue however, is within the sitting room. There is a three seater and a two seater sofa, not enough for 10 people. Again we had to find other chairs for people to sit on which meant for the rest of the evening five people had to sit upright on hard chairs. Additionally, there is a beautiful bedroom downstairs with a large bathroom. This would be wonderful as an accessible bedroom for people with mobility issues however, as it has no shower those in our group who would have benefited most couldn’t use it. Lastly, the area behind the pub needs immediate attention. It is a bit of any eyesore sitting on the terrace looking at old fridges and scrap metal.
