This is a very nice, family run hotel. Food in the evening was excellent, as was breakfast. The building is quite old, but it works. The area is very nice, and the water is very close by. If you're wanting to stay in this area of the island, we would recommend this hotel.

My room was awesome - had a balcony with a view of the harbor. I was in Sweden for the Ironman Triathlon in Kalmar so I appreciated the ample space in my room to lay out my gear, work on my bike, etc. The restaurant in the hotel is awesome and attracts people people from around the town, not just the people staying there. During my 5-night stay, I ate 5 meals there, not including the free breakfast. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, especially the owner. I loved being able to walk down to the harbor and around town. Its is around 35 minutes by car to downtown Kalmar, so quick access to the city, with a much more relaxing environment.

Vi bokade detta boende med höga förvĂ€ntningar efter att ha lĂ€st vĂ€ldigt fina recensioner, men tyvĂ€rr levde hotellet inte riktigt upp till dem. - Rummet vi fick var ett "dubbelrum" med tvĂ„ ihopskjutna enkelsĂ€ngar, vilket inte alls Ă€r samma sak som en riktig dubbelsĂ€ng. Vi fick veta att det endast finns ett rum med dubbelsĂ€ng pĂ„ hela hotellet. - Duschen saknade duschtvĂ„l, trots att schampo och balsam fanns – ett mĂ€rkligt och opraktiskt val. - Under natten hördes ett regelbundet och störande ljud som vi aldrig lyckades identifiera, vilket pĂ„verkade vĂ„r sömn negativt. - TV:n pĂ„ rummet var förĂ„ldrad och det gick inte att anvĂ€nda appar sĂ„som streamingtjĂ€nster – vilket idag kĂ€nns som en sjĂ€lvklarhet. - Vi hade i förvĂ€g kontaktat hotellet och bett om att vĂ„rt bord i restaurangen skulle pyntas med en liten flagga för att uppmĂ€rksamma ett födelsedagsfirande, men detta hade tyvĂ€rr inte ordnats. - Varken rummet eller restaurangen hade fin havsutsikt som man kunnat hoppas pĂ„ – utsikten bestod frĂ€mst av en parkeringsplats och en trĂ„kig byggnad. 👎 Sammantaget blev det en mindre besvikelse. Det fanns absolut positiva delar, men i kombination med bristerna hade vi hoppats pĂ„ nĂ„got mer minnesvĂ€rt och omhĂ€ndertagande.

Nettes kleines Hotel direkt am Hafen. Man hat als Hotelgast immer einen Platz im Restaurant sicher. Das ist ist Regional und nicht wie in anderen Restaurants Massenabfertigung. Das FrĂŒhstĂŒck könnte etwas mehr Auswahl vertragen und wenn etwas leer ist sollte man das schneller auffĂŒllen. Ein Kaffeeautomat fĂŒr andere GetrĂ€nke wie schwarzen Kaffee ( der ist ĂŒbrigens nichts fĂŒr schwache Herzen) wĂ€re noch ein Vorschlag zur Verbesserung

Bra, men beskrivning gav för höga förvÀntningar.

Det hade kunnat vara hur bra som helst, men sett till framförallt beskrivning av rummet, sĂ„ blev vi besvikna. Ljudisolerat blir det inte utan lister runt fönstret och dörren - det lĂ€t som att andra gĂ€ster i korridoren pĂ„ vĂ€g in till oss och det Ă€r inte konstigt att det med centimeterstor glipa runt hela fönstret lĂ€t som att mĂ„sarna och svalorna bodde i rummet. Mörklagt blir det inte med en persienn som dessutom inte gĂ„r hela vĂ€gen ner. En kuddmeny bestĂ„r av mer Ă€n ett val mellan tvĂ„ kuddar för mig. Men hade det inte stĂ„tt i beskrivningen av rummet och varit bidragande tillvalet av hotell sĂ„ hade jag varit nöjd. Fint, rent rum och mjuk sĂ€ng. Pannkaksoset i korridoren kom inte in i rummet och AC:n funkade bra. Badrummet var lite slitet sett till priset; en skrapa varit bra i duschen - nu blev hela golvet blött bla pga kort duschdraperi. Det Ă€r frĂ€scht att byta toaborste ocv toasits regelbundet. Frukosten hade inga varma inslag, men olika fĂ€rska bröd, olika goda pĂ„lĂ€gg, yoghurt mm var bra! Saknade lite mer grönsaker och lite osockrade bĂ€r (frysta hade funkat fint). Personalen var i alla fall supertrevlig och det Ă€r mycket vĂ€rt ♡ Och middagen, dĂ€r vi valde olika matiga galetter, var toppen! Som sagt dĂ„ var det nog bara förvĂ€ntningarna som blev fel sett till beskrivningen. En annan text hade givit mig en mycket bĂ€ttre upplevelse.
