Great stay in cute part of historic Montrose. East checkin at the bar, be advised no elevator but all rooms are on the second floor so it’s manageable. Room was big, Bed comfortable, nice electronic blackout shades. This will definitely be my top pick next time I need to stay in Montrose.

Very unique building with a very nice and large room and bathroom. One note, if you buy the room off Expedia they don’t give them your actual email and Rathbone sends you an email with registration code. I called them and thankfully we got there before 8pm ( bar closes/staff goes home ). Overall, excellent hotel.

The room was very nice—modern, spacious and spotless. The bar was well-stocked and with all the garnishes and little details that make great cocktails. Also made us the best coffee we found in town in the morning. The service overall was fantastic. The staff was so friendly, beyond personable—we ran into a few snags with our trip and they bent over backwards to help us, just went above and beyond. Could not recommend this place more.
