No one rhere at night. Check in by text, key in lockbox. Hard to tell by picture, this is old style motwk that has been nicwly refurbished. Rooms are small. Good for overbigh, not much else. Extra points for having poptarts for breakfast. Menu limited.

Room was perfectly clean with a very comfortable bed. We requested extra pillows and they were brought over really quickly. We used the coffee and drop in breakfast in the morning which was handy and the staff were very friendly. A little bit of road noise but handy for getting to Black Canyon of the Gunnison NP.

It was Spartan but very clean. I loved that the windows actually opened. Very reasonable price considering the taxes and fees levied on motels in Montrose

Staff was friendly and accommodating. They were aware of issues with the television system and acknowledged that it’s frustrating to use. Comfortable bed, but tiny bathroom with no room to set anything down. All in all, pretty expensive for what you get.

Great value, clean, recently remodeled.

Room was recently remodeled. Small, clean,everything that I needed. USB, regular outlets, lamps at either side of the bed. Not a hot breakfast, but coffee, yogurt, cheese available. Great place for an overnight. Highly recommend.

Small foot-print property. But functional. Parking slots are tight. Small, functional rooms, recently renovated. Nice bed. Convenient to the routes to Black Canyon NP South/North rims and downtown Montrose.

The staff was friendly and accessible by text if not at the front desk. Rooms have been renovated and nice sized mini fridges and microwaves. Walls and baseboards were a little dirty and worn. We sat in the chairs by the fire pit and realized they hadn’t been used or cleaned for a while, because we had dirt all over the back of our clothes. There are several restaurants within walking distance. We walked along the Main Street downtown, and there were a lot of shops as well. There is currently construction on the main road in front of the hotel which makes it a little noisy. The lobby has things like yogurt, cheese sticks, pop tarts, granola bars, coffee, and other beverages. The best part was Monte Cristo, the manager’s cute little dog. Overall, it is a good place to stay for the price.

The room was clean and all updated but the TV connection was horrible. Roku was their choice of viewing and all ran on WiFi and all programs no matter what we tried to watch could not handle the amount of streaming content. Called the office and she rebooted the router but that didn’t work. So we simply had to turn it off!
