The Hotel Parc et Lac was in a perfect location for walking the promenade, shopping, restaurants, the train station and the CGN terminal. Highly recommend.

The member of staff was so friendly and helpful. We arrived for the Jazz Festival and had issues parking, but she quickly and effectively helped us. We had a balcony over looking the lake and festival, it was brilliant. We didn't have time to stay for breakfast, but it looked great. We did enjoy a couple of drinks at the bar upon arrival, which was lovely. I would definitely recommend this perfectly situated hotel.

There was no AC at the hotel. We visited there early July and it's almost impossible to sleep with the unbearable heat. The room we stayed in was tiny and stifling. I probably got a couple of hours of sleep with the fan blowing directly at me the whole night.

This is a simple hotel with limited amenities and few staff. Reasonably priced hotel opposite the lake in central location. Short walk to train station, shops and restaurants. Some hotel areas have been refurbished but in an old building so tired in places. I had a room overlooking the lake which was a bonus. Room was clean ,nice bed and I had everything I needed. A comfortable stay.

Maren was the BEST! She checked us in, was available for questions later and was handling the breakfast. She was a huge PLUS for us! Rooms were cozy and breakfast was delicious with many options. Would definitely stay there again!

The last time i was at this property was nearly 15 years ago. It is still clean and well kept. The room we had was a bit small but ok for us. You could call them and request a larger room after the initial reservation. There is a nice breakfast available for 18 CHF but the regular restaurant wasn’t open at this time. There were lots of other restaurants within a few blocks walk.I was here before in winter and was kept warm. This time was summer and there is no air conditioning. There is a fan in every room and the windows open so cool air is available at night. I would stay again!

No air conditioning. In July, it’s torture. Room was much hotter than it was outside. Couldn’t sleep. We left after one night even though we had already paid for three in advance because it was just too hot and uncomfortable.
