Slow down at Sweetgum Valley, a private guest cottage on a 33-acre working farm just outside Monticello, Georgia. Walk the trails, fish the pond, and end the day on a screened porch with the sounds of the countryside.

The Farm
This is a real, working farm, and we’re lovingly renovating it as we go. You’ll meet our goats, chickens, and farm dogs, and you’ll see projects underway around the property. We think that’s part of what makes it special: a place with a story, being built up one season at a time. The owners live on site, so there’s always someone close by if you need anything. The cottage itself still feels secluded and private.

Spread across 33 acres of farmland and woods, there’s plenty of room to wander:
