We loved our stay! Their breakfast was very delicious. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The view spectacular! Their on site restaurant was delicious just a little pricey. The staff was very helpful. Our only complaint was the many bugs that are able to come in the rooms and the fact that our garden view room had no AC. We were afraid to open the porch doors because of the many little creatures and there was no screen to keep them out. But it was beautiful!!

A must see!

This hotel is nestled into the beautiful hills of Monteverde. The vista is spectacular and the food is absolutely wonderful. Our multigenerational family stayed here and fully enjoyed the trails, meals and facility.

This place is AMAZING!! Their dedication to conservation is admirable and they are doing a great job. The property made it hard to leave as it had everything you need. There were hiking trails to waterfalls, great views, and opportunities to see wildlife. Additionally the room was spectacular and the onsite restaurant was one I will definitely come back for. The farm to table ingredients were amazing and healthy.

Property is spectacular with the most amazing views! The on site restaurant serves local farm to table food that is delicious! The rooms are a little small and run down but we didn’t spend much time in them other than to sleep. Lots of beautiful trails to explore and the night hike is recommended! Overall a fantastic experience if you are good with a rustic room and a few bugs!

The hotel is gorgeous with a spectacular view of the mountains. The property has lots of scenic trails with lookout points. The staff is kind and everything is very clean. The hotel and restaurant are very eco-friendly, and fresh fruits, vegetables, and herbs can be seen growing on the property using sustainable resources. Our family really enjoyed the night tour with our guide Eduardo, who was funny, making it all the more fun. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The food was fresh and delicious, especially their red fruit pie!

Beautiful location, close to the Curi cachi and Monteverdi cloud forest. Room basic but nice. Restaurant is nice. farm to table with permaculture program. Grounds and hiking area with waterfall are gorgeous!

My friend and I loved our stay at Valle Escondido. The staff were all super friendly and helpful and the property is gorgeous. The views and the trails on the reserve are unmatched. The restaurant's food was also some of the best I've ever had. Thanks for a wonderful stay!
