A historic home converted into an old school inn, complete with a friendly, helpful innkeeper that owns the place and clearly has a passion for it. Lodging is usually just a necessary evil in my travels, but my stay here was a highlight of this trip.

The 3rd time staying here for work and it just keeps getting better. Usually I have to leave early and the owner packs me breakfast to go but this time I was able to stay for breakfast and it was great! Fresh baked goodies (ham and cheese croissants were amazing). Beautiful home and property. Very much enjoyed our stay. We stopped for the night here on our way north to Olympic National Park. Nice small town with good dining. Would definitely stay again next time we're in the area. Friendly hosts, delicious breakfast with home baked goods and a music room for the musician who is missing their guitar while traveling.
