Comfy stay at a decent price for the area. Easy central location to Monterey, Santa Cruz or Carmel Valley. At the edge of Carmel ByThe Sea if you don’t mind a 15-20m walk into town or a short drive to park in town. Mini fridge for snacks and a microwave in the lobby if you like to save money on eating out all the time. Friendly and helpful staff. We’ll be back for sure.

Cindy, front desk (day manager?) agent did a great job in following up a concern expressed in an earlier post. He concern for and resolution of our situation was genuine and very thoughtful.

Very pleasant staff. Room was clean compared to some of the places we have stayed. Ours was a pet-friendly room, and it had no pet odor. One concern was the traffic on this street as Carpenter St is one of the main street for Carmel, and coming out of our parking space onto Carpenter can be dangerous. However, would stay at this lodge again.

The room we stayed in was spacious and with about every amenity possible. The room had a kitchen (very large) which was well equipped with a stove, refrigerator, microwave and even dishwasher! The appliances were top notch. The grounds surrounding the rooms were lovely. Can't say enough to express how happy we were that we stayed here.

The room was so small. I felt like I was in a shoe box. Everything about the place was small. You walk right into a bed just inside the door. Carpet was dirty, and the bathroom like as big a shower stall. For the money, I know it was Carmel, I would never go back.

Nice property with cottage style rooms. Reception was less than expected for the price. We didn’t feel very welcomed when we checked in but the room was very clean and spacious. The fire pit would have added a lot more charm but was out of order. Overall average experience.

Fan unit on the wall not working Very thin walls Even though we had a patio room upper end room the road noise was bad Plastic cover on mattress were terrible we could smell plastic all night ..because of heat no AC
