Right near cool trail that goes to Asilomar where I was having a conference. Didn't expect boxed breakfast for the ride home so that was a nice treat. All good.

Staff during check in and check out were both friendly. The area is quiet and safe, there was enough parking for the night. Appreciated that there was a boxed breakfast of croissant, cheese, cookie and mints. The room has dated furniture, the carpet should be replaced, the room we stayed in and many of the rooms have an entry door which is a sliding glass window with a keyed lock. There was an odor in the room could not quite identify what the smell is, maybe from the carpet and the bed although the mattress seemed new, it was so hard - no cushioning at all. Overall, it was an OK stay for one night.

When we checked in we heard a tapping noise right above the office, so we thought that might be some maintenance going on. They gave us our room and said it was right above the office. The room did not have a name but it should have been termed the "woodpecker room." We could have requested a different room and done fine, so that's on us, but this one had an ocean view so that was nice. Luckily the wood pickers didn't make noise overnight, but they started up around 8:00 a.m. They had a couple hindred holes in the wall right above our patio door. See pic.

Me and my teenage daughter had an overnight trip. We felt very safe. The staff was so kind, and they gave us an early check-in. The parking was close and it was free parking. The shops were under a mile away. There is a restaurant right next door called Lucy's. We had coffee and ice cream there, and it was great. The best part for us is that the water is a very short walk from the lodge.

I enjoyed staying at Olympia Lodge. It is safe, quiet and peaceful. It is clean and spacious. A great location. We walked to the trails along the shore, and had beer at the restaurant on the golf course. Staff is nice. Parking is free. It is a bit outdated, but the budget-friendly price and everything that is provided, I have no complaint.
