We had a pleasant stay at the Carmel Mission Inn during our vacation. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, and the staff were friendly and attentive—especially Angel, who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. One downside was the overpowering fragrance in the lobby, which felt a bit overwhelming each time we entered. Also, having a microwave in the room would have added convenience, especially for families or longer stays. Overall, a comfortable experience.

There was nothing open in the hotel to eat dinner on Sunday or Monday. I never would have gone there if I knew we couldn't eat there. We had to walk across a busy street to eat dinner.

The good and the bad…

Negatives… Disappointed in the surroundings such as the gas station and empty lot with construction equipment flanking the property. Loud music radiated from the restaurant behind the hotel on Saturday evening. Worst lumpy pillows I’ve ever slept on. Positives… Once you are on property, it has a cute vibe. Clean and updated. Service in the restaurant was good.

Couple's getaway to Carmel

First time staying here and we'll be back for sure. The Carmel Mission Inn is cute, clean, comfortable, and a great value off-season. Very convenient location for walkable shopping and tons of dining options. Only one complaint: the bed was a little too firm.

The alarm clock went off at 2:07 AM witjh no intructions or buttons to turn it off. Turns out it was wifi connected to my IPad which was still playing for 30 minites until I found out that was the sound sound source Tried to unplug it but the outlet was behind the bed which cannot be moved Recommend a sign with instructions and/ our replace with conventional alarm clock!! TOO HIGH TECH I am copying to YELP until I get an answer! For the toom price this was unacceptable Thanks Craig Southard Room 430
