The property is absolutely beautiful and peaceful—surrounded by nature, that made me feel truly alive. Everything about the environment was breathtaking and relaxing. However, I did feel that some of the staff in the cafeteria were not as friendly or welcoming toward us compared to how they treated other guests. It was disappointing and made us feel a bit uncomfortable. I can’t help but wonder if it had to do with us being Hispanic. I hope this is something they reflect on, as hospitality should feel warm and inclusive for everyone.

Superb getaway

Mon-Wed break for 2 adults. Great location, super friendly staff, breakfast was continental style and very good. Rooms were superb, our bathroom was huge. ...and super quiet at night. We'll definitely stay here again.

Our room was comfortable enough but difficult to regulate heat via floor radiator and old thermostat in the bathroom. Bathroom is in need of updating all around. This room is noisy in the mornings which we were told about ahead of time so if you’re up by 7-7:30 am, no problem.

Great place!

My fiance and I were in town for my father's funeral and staying here made the experience a lot better. Wonderful people, beautiful room, and being able to walk to downtown was lovely. Next time we go to Carmel we look forward to staying here again!
