The property was well maintained, breakfast had hot food and a good selection of bagels, bread and pastries. I didn't like their policy that guests must make arrangements before 11 am to have their room serviced. It would be much better to have rooms serviced every other day (Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday). The rooms were well appointed but the upholstered chairs with a small round table would be better set with a work station and appropriate chair.

The hotel in Carmel met our expectations. Its location is perfect! You can explore the charming town on foot and conveniently park your car at the hotel. It’s not luxurious, but it’s warm, cozy, and very comfortable. We would love to return!

The place was clean and the room was spacious and comfortable. The location is excellent! Right in town so you can walk to shops and restaurants. Breakfast is simple but very nice to have to start the day. Would definitely stay here again!

Great stay in Carmel.

Front staff was very accommodating as we were delayed a day due to snow storm in Sequioa. Such a great welcome! Everything was great: location, parking, clean room, comfy bed, strong water pressure, gas heater, decent breakfast with scrambled egg and bacon. Only cons: room smells like a very old grandma’s bedroom. We will return again.

Enjoyed the stay at this lovely hotel. A short walk into town or the beach. Great location. Let down by breakfast, not enough seats, poor selection of food with only bread suitable for dairy free diet. They ran out of bread for toast by 9.30 one morning, leaving no option for a dairy free breakfast. Even though there was a grocery shop next door, they could not provide bread and we had to go elsewhere and pay extra for breakfast.

Great Inn in the heart of Carmel. We opted for a king room with ocean view and it was worth it. We enjoyed the patio as well as the fireplace in the room. Walking distance to the village and to the beach. A bonus is being next door to Bruno’s! Great stay and would definitely come back. Staff were great and made check in so easy!

Great location, good hotel but disappointing break

Room was lovely and we had a great balcony, with views over the bay. The bed was very comfy and the shower was very good. The hotel is located very centrally, close to restaurants and shops. Carmel is not cheap! But tge hotel was very reasonable. Brealfast was included in the deal but it was very basic - paper plates and plastic cutlery. For me - that was the only thing that let this hotel down. Otherwise it was a great place to stay.

Great location, free parking. Very clean and fire place makes it cozy in the room. I gave 4 stars because it is a little noisy for light sleepers and showers were very loud. Would stay again.
