In need of some improvements

The photos look nice but beware this hotel is old, in need of some TLC. Greeted with a smoking bar maid for check-in. Breakfast was poor but evening meal was all right. For less money we had just come from a 5 star Hilton in Podgorica.

Hotel location was wonderful. We had beautiful view of Sveti Stefan island from our balcony. We enjoyed the lovely restaurant rooftop terrace for our evening meals. The views and sunsets were great. The breakfast menu is varied and choices individually cooked for you. We found all food at the hotel to be extremely well cooked and the portions were large. The seafood choices are brilliant. We found all the staff extremely helpful and friendly throughout our stay. Parking is free outside the hotel and the hotel is well located to visit Perast, Kotor and Lake Skardar. There is also a local bus stop outside the hotel which takes you into Budva. We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay and would highly recommend this Hotel.

Great view from the restaurant and a decent place

We had 2 rooms (11 and 13) and they were both good modern rooms with good air con. Hotel not overly friendly but I think this might be the Montenegro way. Breakfast was good and we had a lovely meal with a stunning view of Sveti Stefan, book a table so you can get one at the front and watch the sun set. There is not a lot to do in The town but a nice walk along the sea front and through the woods

View from balcony was amazing of Sveti Stefan, room was big, clean , bathroom clean , coffee facilities in room, restaurant meals were good and breakfast menu which was included was ample , we Thoroughly enjoyed our stay on our very first night in Montenegro

AMAZING VIEW .. GOOD ROOM .. BUT LITTLE ELSE

AMAZING view and a good-sized, clean room with WiFi. However, a room with a sea view is essential, as there is little else to recommend this hotel: the staff were indifferent and there was constant loud music in the restaurant and bar areas. The food was adequate but the wine was expensive.

Second visit within a year. I love the place for the team that work around the clock, The convenience of the location. Beautiful view, easy parking, great walk to the beach. The hotel issue I had was the bed, wish it was a bit softer. Most likely will be back.

The room cabinets were not cleaned. Looks like food was not cleaned out from previous guests. Room has nice view of Sveti Stefan. Room is ok if you just want to have a place to sleep since everything looks old, it's not very pleasing to stay there. Also, I think it is quite expensive for the quality and cleanliness you get.

The decor was a bit dated, however the staff were friendly, it has a superb view and the restaurant food is good. Get a table on the terrace so you can admire the view

Great staff and great location

We had an enjoyable stay at Hotel Adrovic. The staff is very friendly and extremely helpful. They went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. From helping us get to Budva to flagging down the excursion driver who forgot to stop and pick us up, they were great! We bumped into them at the beach and in town and they were even friendly then too. The hotel's location is great for convenient access to the local bus and many excursions will pick up and drop off from here! As long as you don't mind stairs, beach access is relatively easy too. The views of Sveti Stefan island from the terrace are amazing and we loved relaxing on the terrace watching the sunset. The food was fresh and good; I love the Montenegro platter and Greek salad with a glass of local wine. For me, the staff at Hotel Androvic sets this hotel apart from others!

Only the View is 5 star

This hotel has a magnificent Five Star View overlooking the private Sveti Stefan Island. and Budva. The hotel staff was nice and the breakfast was sufficient.The restaurant/terrace area were in good shape. Unfortunately the room was simply unclean or in disrepair: from visible stains on the mattress pad, to no cabinet doors, just hinges, to smelly fridge, to a toilet that tipped over to one side (ie unbolted to the floor; unpleasant odor). An open door showed us one room that was newly renovated, so I hope that the hotel will continue to fix/renovate during the off-season.

Tremendous Sveti Stefan view but a low rate hotel

This hotel has a commanding view of Sveti Stefan that is spectacular from the room as well as the dining facility and open air terrace bar. However, the rooms are substandard. We had holes in the wall for electrical wiring, chipping paint, cabinets with missing door covers, toilet seats that came off the toilet, and dirty mattresses. This is not close to a 3* hotel. It is a mix of rooms for rent and long term stays. The long term stay rooms seemed to be "homes" for locals and were in better condition. The breakfast was barely adequate compared to many other places we've been. We got the service we desired but it was reluctantly provided. On a positive note, the young women receptionist was pleasant and upbeat but could not overcome the deficiencies of this hotel.

OK hotel but terrible breakfast

The first negative is that, arriving by public transport, this place isn't exactly easy to find. Be prepared for a climb! We dealt with 2 members of staff on reception who were very friendly, but we wish the same could be said of those in the restaurant (more on that below...). Rooms were clean and comfortable but some noise could be heard from the corridor during the night/early morning. Dinner was nice enough but breakfast was not-too-far-off inedible. Here's an example. When we asked for a cup of tea, being unable to see any out, the waiter stared at us as if we were idiots then said "It's in the kettle". Oh yes, tea brewed directly IN a kettle. Oh, and only 2 bags in the entire thing. Mmm warm beige water! Ok overall but over-priced for what it is, though the same could be said of most hotels in Montenegro.
