Vintage-Style Vacation Rental in Tuscany – Peace, Nature, and Stunning Views

Located on the upper floor of a former miner’s house, our charming and peaceful vintage-style vacation rental is nestled among olive trees, with a magnificent view across the valley all the way to Volterra. The apartment is located just outside the small town of Montecatini Val di Cecina, yet it’s easily accessible and only about a 10-minute walk from the town center.

Enjoy a relaxing stay amidst the rolling hills of Tuscany. The famous cities of Volterra, San Gimignano, Siena, Florence, Pisa, Lucca, and Grosseto are easily accessible. The sea, with its beautiful beaches, is also only about 25 km away. Right outside the front door, charming hiking trails and bike routes wind through the typical Tuscan countryside.

Amenities of the vacation rental:

You reach the apartment via a beautiful, typical Tuscan outdoor staircase. There is a covered area with a small table—perfect for breakfast at sunrise.

The accommodation features:

A well-equipped kitchen
A bathroom
One (two?) bedrooms with a double bed and an additional sleeping arrangement

If needed, a second bedroom with a double bed and a bunk bed can be booked—ideal for families or small groups (up to 6 people).

Outdoor area and garden:

Guests have access to a spacious, fenced-in garden area with several seating areas and lounge chairs—perfect for relaxing, sunbathing, or reading. The garden is separated from the hostess’s private area.

Pets welcome:

Pets are very welcome! The garden is fenced and offers plenty of space for your dog to run freely. If you’d like, I’d also be happy to look after your dog from time to time—for example, when outings aren’t possible during extreme heat. The only requirement is that your dog be well-socialized, as I occasionally need to work in the garden. My dog, Candy, also lives on the property; she’s friendly and loves having other dogs to play with.
