"Easy contactless check-in, close to the river, quiet. The bed was comfortable, room was dark. I am surprised that the room had a tub you could actually take a bath in (not just a shower), and easy access to neighboring towns."

It was truly a grand old hotel that still retains things like an elevator with a gate door, old fashioned cash registers, and beautiful wood carved furniture. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was good. That said, the hotel's glory days are clearly behind it and it is showing it's age, so if you like "new and shiny" this may not be the place for you."

"The hotel was nice and clean, staff was amazing, but the elevator was down and they put us (a family of 4) on the top floor. Then our room was out of many of the amenities like shampoo and conditioner. Breakfast was great!"
