We love Casa Secoya but were disappointed in the sleeping arrangements. The couch did NOT sleep 2 people. Other than that, we had a nice stay.

The staff (Javier) was amazing and made our stay extra special. We played connect 4 in the yard it was amazing addition to our trip! Would have stayed more days here if we could have. The rooms were spacious. The environment was so peaceful it was like a time warp. Back to simple family vacations together not filled with screens. This is THE exact hotel I dream to have for all our family vacations! Can’t wait to go back!

Overall, decent place. Dispensers of bath products instead of small plastic bottles would be more eco-friendly. Also, bamboo or recycled paper products would be preferred.

The room are basic, but perfectly organise. Supplies are available and in good quantities. That is a really price/quality location. The outside would need a little love around the pool, but the pool is nicely maintained as well. All the staff were kind and helpful. We will be back when we are back.

Casa Secoya is a delightful and affordable place to stay. It's less than a 10-minute drive to Guerneville and close to all that Monte Rio has to offer. The owner Javier was very helpful and attentive. The pool is great for laps and convenient to have Bia Cafe next door. The room is comfortable but the bed creaks. Because the rooms look out on to each other, there is not much privacy and you need to keep the shades down. Their website recommended Iron Horse Winery, which was a real delight!

I didn’t like that my wife had to climb some precarious stairs . They should have a ramp to get to rooms for handicap. My wife uses a cane as she has a bad knee. Also they need to provide more safety grab bars in bathroom. Eliminate bathtubs and provide walk in showers.
