Two Gîtes at 18thC Manor, Private Pool, ideal for Families and Groups
Located in the picturesque village of Montaut, the property is an ensemble of a 3 bedroom cottage and a 1 bedroom cottage with additional accommodation available in the main house if required.
Ideally suited for families or a group of friends who want o enjoy a relaxing holiday together.
The 3 bedroom cottage once housed the estate’s caretakers (concierge) from 1886 to 1941. It has been fully renovated to a charming character filled self contained apartment. It retains many original features while offering modern comfort across 160m² of living space. The cottage accommodates up to three couples, or two couples and two children, with two large bedrooms and one medium-sized bedroom.
The open-plan layout includes a fully equipped kitchen, spacious dining and private outdoor s areas perfect for dining outside under the stars . Guests enjoy access to a pool, garden and walled garden across the road from the main property.
The one bedroom cottage was once the old buanderie, where laundry and cooking were done, This 95m² stone cottage has been fully renovated into a comfortable retreat for two.
Rich in original character, it offers an authentic cottage feel throughout.
Downstairs, you’ll find a a comfortable living zone overlooking the garden and pool. The galley kitchen is fully equipped for preparing meals,
Upstairs, the spacious open-plan king-size bedroom spans the entire floor, featuring oak beams, a claw-foot bath, and armchairs. The views over our walled garden and the rolling green hills of the Chalosse, with the Pyrenees visible on a clear day are stunning.
Additional ‘chambre d’hôte’ accommodation is available in the main house consisting of a large suite, two large twin bedrooms and a family bathroom. A spacious living overlooks the garden and beautiful views of surrounding countryside.
A private entrance, secure gates, and surrounding stone walls provide both privacy and peace of mind.
The property is situated between Saint Sever 7km and Mugron 8km. Both towns have cafés, boulangeries, patisseries, markets and independents stores, there are several supermarkets 10 minutes drive from here.

Outside features: a bike shed, beautiful private garden, private entrance, garden table and chairs, plancha, seating and sun umbrellas. 7 x 4m pool with alarm and gated fence for added security.
There are EV charging points in Montaut and in nearby towns of Saint Sever and Mugron.
