No wi-fi above the SPA

The bed comfort was wonderful, best night sleep I’ve had in a hotel for quite some time. The pool was throughly enjoyed by the children as well. The downside was we were situated in two Hotel Rooms located above the SPA/Pool Area and the wi-fi did not work. The signal was very weak and disconnected frequently.

Nice Hotel, minor issues notwithstanding

Nice enough hotel although it felt like a conference centre in parts. The restaurant service was slow and the food not great (had to send a steak back that was impossible to chew through for example). Only real issue is that if you park in the car park there's no way to get into the building with your luggage unless you walk up a flight of stairs and go back down in the lift - badly thought out.

The Van Der Valk Mons Congress hotel is modern, clean, and has very nice rooms, restaurant, bar, gym, spa, and meeting rooms. The location is great. A huge modern train station is across the street that provides rail connections to anywhere in Europe. On the other side of the train station is historic old downtown Mons with shops, restaurants, and historic buildings to see. And a huge modern shopping mall with nice restaurants and stores is only a 10-minute walk away. It is the best place to stay in Mons.
