Family friendly stay

Very pleasant stay, not bad for a budget place, I really appreciated the friendly service. They're renovating at the moment so hopefully the little annoyances with the water pressure and the sound of the hot water rattling the pipes can be overcome.

Very close to station. Partially refurbished old Ibis. Pleasant room with heating. Cindy bed. Good shower and bathroom. Corridors still have old pebbledashed walls and need work. Poor range of Belgian beer in bar - no bottles! Staff excellent.

Excellent customer service

We had an excellent time at B&B Hotel Mons. The rooms were spacious and comfortable with great bathrooms and comfortable beds. However, the best part of the stay was the customer service. Most notably, Theo, who greeted us at the front desk on both of our visits (we had two nights booked in separated by a night elsewhere). He was warm, genuine, friendly and even provided my partner an opportunity to practice her french. Theo also celebrated our engagement with excitement and glee and made us feel welcoming throughout. I am not sure if there is any reward for a good review. But Theo deserves commendation for his excellent customer service. We plan to return down the line and hope to be greeted with him then too.

I'm currently preparing to vacate my apartment in Mons after a few years working in Belgium. Stayed Saturday night at the B&B Mons Gare room 207. The young man on reception was incredibly helpful, Joffrey. Our room was very large with a bath. There were a couple of wedding parties in but we had a great nights sleep. Breakfast was fine with some hot options for us Brits. I never used the hotel when it was run by IBIS but would recommend. We didn't have a car but the car park looked easy to use. Not in the best part of Mons but we know the area well.

Nous avons adoré notre séjour à cet hôtel ! Le personnel est serviable et très gentil. Les chambres sont très minimalistes, ce qui fait qu'elles ne sont pas les plus confortables, mais c'était suffisant pour nos besoins. L'emplacement est également incroyable. Seul bémol, le wifi fonctionne plus ou moins.

J'ai un avis plutôt mitigé je dois dire. J'ai trouvé un long cheveu sur le couvercle des toilettes, en dehors de cela, c'était propre. Le séjour s'est déroulé sous une forte chaleur, et les chambres ne disposent pas de climatisations, heureusement, ma chambre (plutôt grande) était équipée d'un ventilateur mais pas celles de mes amis. Pour sortir du parking, vous devez taper un code sur un boitier qui n'est pas accessible depuis la voiture, ce qui veut dire que vous êtes obligé de sortir de votre véhicule, taper le code, et retourner a votre véhicule. Etant une personne a mobilité réduite, j'ai moyennement apprécié le système. Le petit déjeuner est correct mais vous demandera 18 eur si vous ne le réservé pas a l'avance, ca commence à chiffrer sans oublier le prix du parking de 15e par nuit. Lorsque vous additionner le prix de la chambre, le petit déjeuner et le parking, vous arrivés a environ 160e, pour être dans un B&B à Mons, c'est cher, mais c'était pendant la période du 'doudou' ce qui explique en partie le tarif salé.

hall d entree qui limite nous tombait sur la tete car les plaques n étaient pas remises et les tuyaux etaient apparents... mais s il n y avait que cela... la chambre la plus spartiate possible.. franchement au vu du prix c est limite ...pas de plateau de courtoisie, ni eau, ni café, ni frigo... heureusement la literie est très confortable mais...il y a un mais... impossible de dormir car les chambres ne sont pas insonorisées et donc il y a du passage toute la nuit des voitures...et quelle belle surprise d avoir eu un suplement de 40 e de frais à notre arrivée... bref.. le petit dèjeuner est bien, il y en a pas plein partout mais ça suffit amplement et le personnel est très serviable.
