The stay was in a good location and was comfortable and clean. However we had a top floor room and were woken up by very loud banging. Turned out they were replacing the roof and we were not warned. Management couldn’t credit us because we prepaid but they gave us breakfast. Not much we could do. Just make sure there’s no construction going on when you book!

Easy to get to, right of the main road going into the city. The sea view room we had with beautiful view of the rock where the castle is situated. Very easy walk to almost everywhere in Monemvasia. Very clean with a nice bathroom. Staff was excellent.

Refurbishment

Hotel being renovated so in our room electrics bit dodgy, no towel or loo roll holder. Description said tea/coffee facilities, bath robe, slippers and hair dryer all not there. However they gave us complimentary breakfast in lieu. Pleasant staff, good location.

What a gem! We arrived fairly late at night after a long drive from Athens to be greeted by a cheerful worker who showed us to our lovely room. The sunrise over the sea the next morning was spectacular, and the hotel is very convenient to the important things to see in this town (beach, castle). We spent a delightful morning wandering around the castle town and a little time on the beach. Oh, and I should have mentioned that the breakfast was delicious and well worth getting. All in all a fantastic "off the beaten path" stop. I highly recommend the town and this hotel in particular.

Being inside the wall of Monemvasia is an experience like no other. Having a coy room to retreat to is a tremendous luxury. The delicious breakfasts on a sunny terrace are a fabulous way to start the day

Motel-like room in great location

Extremely friendly and helpful staff, and excellent location - walking distance to the main attraction, the Castle. But... after reading all the rave reviews we were surprised to see that the room reminded us of a Super 8 motel. Clean but very basic, I mean, VERY basic, with very generic amenities. On top of it the shower door was broken and let the water spray the whole bathroom. Doubt that we'd be coming back.

Gorgeous hotel great views

A beautiful hotel as the name suggests The Flower of Monemvasia presents with colourful flowers outside the premises and gracious staff who helped us with luggage and suggested taverns to eat at within walking distance. Great location and views of beach accessed across the road and short walking distance to Gefyra to the medieval fortress known as the Greek Rock of Gibraltar.

Monemvasia - a must see destination

This was our fourth visit to Monemvasia but our first stay at the Flower of Monemvasia. The location is just a few steps from the beach. The rooms are comfortable and immaculate. All rooms have balconies. Breakfast is plentiful and the owners couldn't be more accommodating. We will definitely be coming back to the Flower!

For short people

The room was in an attic. The door was 5feet in height walking 3 ft with height of 5ft of concrete ceiling. We had NO other choice to chance the hotel and DENAND A FULL REFUND. We could not find another hotel. We use your service for first time and possible your last. WE ORDER AN PAY FOR A ROOM AND NOT AN ATTIC THAT WAS MADE TO A ROOM

A great experience!

The stay was excellent in many ways. One out of the ordinary thing occurred to us though. I developed s stomache virus and felt miserable. Maria at the front d sk allowed me to stay in our room many hours after checkout time so that I could attempt to recover while my family was able to sightsee. That extra kindness and courtesy were greatly appreciated. I understand the breakfast buffet was delicious, although I wouldn't know! Start here when searching for a place to stay!

Great hotel and location

We were warmly welcomed at the front desk and were happy to see the comfortable suite - great for our family of 5. The beach is steps away as are some supermarkets, bakery and the main sights of Monemvasia. This was an excellent choice!

Nice hotel close to the beach

Good place to stay in Monemvasia with clean, tidy room. Staff were excellent : friendly and helpful. Beach is 2 minutes walk from the hotel and there are plenty of decent places to eat nearby. The views are pretty good too.
