I gave this stay excellent ratings across the board because, while it wasn’t a luxury hotel experience, they did an amazing job with what they have in such a remote location. The domes were clean, warm, and ready for us on time. The staff was very attentive and seemed to be constantly working to make sure everyone had hot water, clean facilities, warm bedding, and good food. They also offered inexpensive home-cooked meals, plus fun little extras like snacks and hot cocoa for our family. The location is what really makes it special. We had breathtaking views of Humantay and Salkantay Mountains right from our domes, and there was very little light pollution, so the night sky was beautiful. This is a small business with limited staff, and we really appreciated how hard they worked to make sure we were comfortable and taken care of. We had a wonderful stay and would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a unique experience in Soraypampa.

The owners spoke English and helped us with anything we needed. They also helped us to a free meal one of the nights. This camp is right at the entrance of Humanatay lake and is right along the Salkantay path. Also to be noted there was HOT water and excellent shower pressure. Probably our best stay along the way!!!
