BEAUTIFUL HOUSE WITH UNIQUE DESIGN FOR RENT IN MOJACAR BEACH, ALMERIA

A beautiful house with a unique design in the town of Mojacar. The house is located in a protected Natural area 1km from the beach. The house has capacity to accommodate up to eight people but we also offer the option to rent part of the house for smaller groups, couples or single persons. In this case they will not have access to the entire property.

The garden and outside areas will be available.The interiors have been designed with an elegant minimalist yet warm touch preserving the spirit of an old house. A warm Mediterranean light invades the spaces of the house, entering through the skylights that are in every room.The thick stone walls and the lush greenery of the garden keeps the house cool in the hot months of the summer. The environment: The house cortijo de La Chumbera Blanca is located in the end of Mojacar, a small village in the Sierra de Cabrera, with white houses and narrow streets that are full of light and life in the summer nights. Macenas beaches are little known and unspoilt with pristine waters. About 20 kilometers from the house begins Cabo de Gata natural park preserved for its purity, has an area of 60 kilometers of beaches which have been maintained in its natural state without many urban modofications. Within the park there are small towns worth visiting for its tranquility and beauty. The Sierra Cabrera, which is located in Mojacar has areas of archaeological interest and there are trails practicable. The local cuisine is appreciated for its homemade dishes mainly fish. A little-known scenic spot of Mediterranean geography.

Services close to the house: Mojacar Playa offers services for everyone, most frequented in summer are the bars on the beach where you can eat with your feet in the sand. On the beach you can enjoy jazz and flamenco concerts throughout the summer, with the sound of the sea in the background. The cuisine is also very varied and you can taste typical local dishes as well as any international cuisine. The nearest city is Almeria and worth a visit for its magnificent fort Arabic Nasrid period (Alcazaba). There are many interesting towns in the province that still retain their unique essence due to the lack of presence of tourism for decades.

Rough and ready, quirky and rustic. It was clean and well equipped. It would suit 4 couples as there are 4 double beds but the alternative singles were very uncomfortable and the children ended up sharing double beds - so not satisfactory. The pool is much smaller than it looks and even though weeks earlier I had been told it was warm it was really cold .The children had a great time in it but I would not have booked it had I known. The details said a golf course in 2 Km - it has closed down , it was not possible to walk to a beach in 10 mins. The area is bleak and unattractive. Owner charming and helpful - we had thought to have painting lessons but decided that 80 € per person was just too much . It wasn’t the holiday we had planned

Très belle maison calme et farniente

Nous y avons passé 2 semaines au mois d'août. Nous y étions en coupe +4 adolescents de 18 ans . La maison est magnifique avec ses patios et ses coins pour se reposer et s'isoler. La plage est à 10 minutes à pieds. La vie nocturne aussi. Nous n'avons jamais rencontré la propriétaire Kika mais Yvan est toujours là pour nous aider au moindre problème, il a toujours des conseils pour visiter , pour aller manger , pour aller écouter un concert au bord de la plage... C'était des vacances formidables ...

La casa está bien aunque la perspectiva que nos habíamos hecho tras ver las fotos era bastante mejor de lo que realmente te encuentras un situ. Más que Villa de lujo le llamaría casa rural. La piscina nada que ver la foto con la realidad y qué decir de la "cama balinesa". Una vergüenza que se ponga esa foto cuando realmente hablamos de una cama desastrosa en la azotea. En general bien pero demasiado cara para lo que ofrece

la maison est très agréable, bien décorée, spacieuse et bien équipée. Les chambres sont spacieuses et indépendantes, la literie de bonne qualité. les salles de bain propres et agréables- La terrasse est spacieuse et très agréable aussi. le jardin est très joli, à l'abris du vent (important car la région est assez ventée) on y trouve des coins ombragés , la piscine est bien agréable! L 'accueil est très bien et si besoin, Ivan est là, il intervient rapidement! Pas de problème de voisinage... on peut faire du bruit :) l'emplacement: on est à 5/10 minutes en voiture pour les courses et de la plage de Mojacar. Le village (en hauteur) est très joli- Les plages sont nombreuses aux alentours, il faut prendre la voiture pour y aller. En bref: une maison pour passer de bonnes vacances! Traumhaftes Domizil mit Stil

Wir haben uns in dem wunderschönen Haus sehr wohl gefühlt! Leider hatten wir nur eine Woche Zeit. Jedes der unterschiedlich gestalteten Zimmer hat seinen besonderen z.T. karibischen Charme - viele Sitzmöglichkeiten, die überdachte Terrasse, früh im Mai der geschütze Patio,, der Garten, die unübertroffenen Dachterrassen mit grandiosem Ausblick. Komplette Küche, reichlich Austattung . Sehr freundlicher Empfang durch den Eigentümer , der immer erreichbar war und um die Ecke wohnt . Zum Erkunden der langen Strände, spektakulären Steilküsten und der Wüste des Capo de Gata oder auch den Strandlauf bei Sonnenaufgang ein perfekter Ausgangspunkt . Vielen Dank für den schönen Urlaub! Wir kommen wieder!

Una semana estupenda en una casa preciosa.

Hemos pasado, mi familia y yo (incluidos niños y abuelos), una semana estupenda en esta casa que además de ser bonita por fuera, es espectacular por dentro, llena de rincones preciosos, de detalles bien cuidados, totalmente equipada, y en un entorno natural y salvaje. Cerca de playas muy bonitas y de pueblos con mucho encanto para visitar. Los propietarios, Kika e Iván, atentos y amables desde el día de la reserva. Todos hemos disfrutado muchísimo, mañanas de playa, tardes de piscina, cena en chiringuito...sin duda la recomiendo. Y si podemos, volveremos. Muchas gracias. Sandra (de Madrid) Mayo 2016.

UN PARAÍSO ESCONDIDO

Tuvimos la fortuna de encontrar esta casa para la última semana de agosto. Hemos estado dos familias con niños (10 personas en total) y lo único que puedo decir es que ha sido una auténtica maravilla. La(s) casa(s) son verdaderamente bonitas, llenas de espacios sugerentes, de estancias y rincones acogedores, que invitan a estar, a no salir, a disfrutar de los distintos momentos del día y de la noche. Si tenéis oportunidad de ver amanecer desde una de las terrazas de la azotea, no dejéis de aprovecharla, la luz es mágica. La piscina es una delicia y la casa cuenta con todos los servicios que se pueden esperar para una estancia con total comodidad. El único inconveniente (en mi caso, me pareció una ventaja) es que, aunque hay wifi en la casa, la cobertura de los móviles, salvo en una parte, no es especialmente buena, lo que contribuyó, aún más, a sentirme perdido en este paraíso escondido.

Très belle demeure spacieuse et décoré avec gout

Nous avons séjourné deux semaines sur Mojacar. La maison est située dans un coin tranquille au bord de la montagne et proche de la vie nocturne Andalouse. Idéal pour des vacances en famille. Kika, la propriétaire est très accueillante, chaleureuse et conviviale. A recommander et nous reviendrons.

Magnifique villa

Nous avons passé 12 jours formidables dans cette superbe villa. Environnement très agréable à l'intérieur et à l'extérieur, propriété très propre, bien aménagée, pas de problèmes d'alimentation en eau ni d'électricité. Peut convenir à quatre couples sans problème, même avec enfants. Propriétaires serviables, proches et très discrets. Nous recommandons vivement cette villa aux personnes appréciant le calme et le charme des maisons atypiques.

No es lo que esperábamos

Reservamos la casa para pasar la semana santa, íbamos con dos niños de 2 y 4 años. La entrada en la casa es a partir de las 5 pm, lo cual es un poco tarde si además es invierno y vas con niños. La casa no estaba aclimatada ni había lo necesario para hacerlo, a pesar de que el dueño lo intentó sin éxito. Teniendo en cuenta que íbamos con dos niños pequeños pasamos una noche francamente mala. La humedad es insoportable sumada al frío. Los baños son incómodos para los niños, no hay bañeras y sólo cortina en uno de ellos (hacía mucho frío). Hay muchos escalones y desniveles tanto en la casa como en las terrazas y en la piscina, de nuevo poco recomendable para los niños. Decidimos marcharnos al día siguiente, habíamos reservado 7 noches y tuvimos que pagar 3 noches. La casa es ideal para ir con amigos y en verano. Las familias con niños pequeños mejor abstenerse y más aún fuera de la época veraniega.

Beauté, calme, nature sublime

Nous avons passé de magnifiques vacances à la Casa Chumera Blanca, la maison est sublime, décorée avec beaucoup de gout, une maison d'artiste avec de très jolis tableaux, très bien équipée, la vue sur les toits terrasses est à tomber. La nature est riche, beaucoup de calme, nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

Great house, great host!

We had the pleasure of staying at La Chumbera Blanca for two weeks and had a simply wonderful time. The whole experience was great from start to finish. Kika was helpful and communicative from first contact, and instinctively knows how to balance being on-hand to solve any issues and giving you the space to enjoy your holiday. She also gave us some recommendations for places around Mojacar, and yet more when we left for a few days in Almeria at the end of our holiday. The house itself is even better than the photographs. And deceptively large. The pool is lovely, the terraces perfect for sunbathing, the grounds delightful, and the house itself superbly equipped. Overall my only hesitation in recommending Kika and her house would be that too many people get to know about it! But then a place like this deserves to do well. We'll certainly be back soon!
