Sick most of the week - will not be back

On the first day we loved everything about the hotel - the rooms, the pool area and the food. But then one of us got sick with stomack virus (noro) and then one after one we got sick until all five of us were down, some even with fever. So our very expensive all inclusive week (+7000ā‚¬) turned out to be a big disappointment as all of us had trouble with our stomachs even after getting up again, and none of us really felt like eating from the buffet - we only had a little plain bread, fruit, pasta and so for the rest of the week. Also, the hotel didnā€™t seem to care about the situation even though we were obviously not the only sick guests (there was vomit in the corridots and they told us we were not). By the end of the week they put disinfectant forward in the restaurant but that was a very slow reaction - and also they could have made guests more aware of the importance of using it, e.g. on info screens. Thumbs up, however, to the cleaning staff who were the only ones who seemed to care. They did a great job. We will not come back. Luckily we had another week in a self-catered apartment after our week at Bull Dorado - it cost way under half of this week (food included) and was so much better in all terms. Of course the hotel cannot avoid that people get sick but at least they could have an attitude of regret and try to take precautions.

Ich habe mich fĆ¼r dieses Hotel aufgrund der sehr guten Lage entschieden und das war definitiv ein groƟer Pluspunkt. Die Aussicht ist wirklich wunderschƶn und auch der Wellnessbereich sowie der Fitnessraum haben mir sehr gut gefallen. Zudem war das Personal durchweg freundlich und bemĆ¼ht. Auch die Beachbar hatte einen positiven Aspekt: Es gab dort zusƤtzlich Snacks, was ich sehr angenehm fand. Leider Ć¼berwiegen fĆ¼r mich dennoch die negativen Punkte deutlich. Bereits am ersten Tag hatte ich das GefĆ¼hl, dass ich mich falsch entschieden habe. RĆ¼ckblickend hƤtte ich lieber etwas mehr Geld (ca. 400ā€“500 ā‚¬) investiert und ein hochwertigeres, beispielsweise ein 5-Sterne-Hotel, gebucht. Das Hotel ist sehr hellhƶrig, wodurch ich mich wƤhrend des Aufenthalts kaum entspannen konnte. ZusƤtzlich war gefĆ¼hlt immer irgendwo im Hotel eine Baustelle. Dieser Anblick hat das Gesamtbild leider stark beeintrƤchtigt. Auch die Einrichtung wirkt insgesamt veraltet. Die Dusche sah zunƤchst sauber aus, bei genauerem Hinsehen war sie jedoch leider deutlich verschmutzt. Das Buffet wirkte anfangs vielfƤltig, allerdings wiederholte sich die Auswahl tƤglich stark und das Essen war teilweise sehr fettig. Auch die GetrƤnkeauswahl an der Beachbar entsprach meiner Meinung nach nicht einem All-Inclusive-Standard. Es gab kaum Abwechslung und man konnte im Grunde immer wieder nur dasselbe trinken. Das Abendprogramm war leider ebenfalls nicht Ć¼berzeugend und wirkte weder abwechslungsreich noch besonders an

Plus: bra poolomrƄde, bra spaavdelning. Rent och frƤscht. Bra lƤge till strand, buss och stad. Minus: sega/trasiga hissar som innebar lƄnga vƤntetider. BuffƩn hade bra utbud men kvaliteten pƄ maten var inte den bƤsta. Restaurangen ƶppnade Ƥven lite i senaste laget (kl. 13) fƶr smƄbarnsfamiljer. AC:n fungerade inte pƄ vƄrt rum och vi hƶrde frƄn andra gƤster att deras inte heller fungerade. Personalen pƄstƄr dock att den funkar. Nedkylningen av rummet skƶttes istƤllet av takflƤktar.
