Nice looking but I had to share space with mice

Nice looking place with updated modern kitchen, flooring and baths. Very nice decorations and a comfortable bed. Host communicated very quickly and they have extremely helpful guides. The home is remote, in the middle of a large acreage property. You are very far from noise and disruption. I could not give 5 stars because I had to live with mice. There were signs of mice when I arrived and mice hiding in the furniture which would scurry out of the corner chairs in the morning, which freaked me out and tainted my stay. I was diligent in keeping exterior doors shut, but there is a stack of wood by the back door so this should be addressed. Also the back door is not nice proof I saw gaps in the door.
