Der Service war wirklich klasse, und die freundliche Dame beim Frühstück hat meinen Aufenthalt besonders angenehm gemacht! Beim nächsten Mal würde ich mich für ein Comfort Plus Zimmer entscheiden, da das zur Parkseite gelegen ist und es dort ruhiger ist. Auch die Einrichtung könnte ein kleines Update vertragen, aber insgesamt habe ich meinen Aufenthalt sehr genossen!

I would like to say I am a fan of Van der valk but this hotel really ruined my impression of it because of the check in staff who was really inhospitable and unhelpful. I always enjoy my stays in Van der valk in the Netherlands but this was a bust.

Decent hotel but short comings

Stayed here for one night, price was good and actually cheaper via Hotels.com than with the hotel directly. The hotel is large and grand (typical of the brand) with a huge outdoor car park with no height restrictions. Room was pleasant and clean but as is the case with all German Van Der Valk Hotels the standard room was no way near as nice as the more modern Dutch ones. Worth staying when rates are low but not when high. Be warned in summer rooms would be boiling as no AC. Good breakfast buffet. Hotel let down by poor service at reception. Arrived in room and there was no TV remote so could not watch TV. Called reception and was told there was nothing that could be done. Eventually went to reception and convinced them to take a remote from an empty room. Annoying this was missed by cleaning staff and then not quickly resolved by night reception.
