Beautifully renovated crossing keepers cottage.

The gite is stylishly decorated and modernised and is located next to the RAVeL126 cycling and walking route. Thus it is well located for sightseeing and also getting about locally. The gite is well equipped with all mod cons including Wi-fi. It has a patio area with the sun all day and furniture for relaxing if the weather is suitable. There is a handy supermarket 200m down the cycle track in the village of Clavier Station.

Wir hatten ein wunderschönes Wochenende im Ferienhaus. Die Lage ist hervorragend: mitten in der Natur, ideal zum Wandern und Entspannen. Allerdings liegt das Ferienhaus an einer Straße, auf der zwar wenig Verkehr herrscht, die Autos aber unglaublich schnell vorbeifahren. Das kann störend sein, besonders wenn man Kinder hat oder einen leichten Schlaf hat – mich hat es ab und zu gestört. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und beantworten Fragen fast immer schnell. Das sorgt für eine angenehme und einladende Atmosphäre. Was mir gefehlt hat, war ein kleiner überdachter Bereich im Garten. Bei Nieselregen oder Regen kann man jetzt nicht draußen sitzen, was man in dieser wunderschönen Umgebung natürlich gerne tun würde. Vorteile: • Wunderschöne Lage in den Ardennen • Gastfreundliche und hilfsbereite Vermieter • Guter Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen und Aktivitäten Nachteile: • Das Ferienhaus liegt an einer stark befahrenen Straße • Kein Vordach, daher ist es schwierig, bei Regen draußen zu sitzen Alles in allem ein positives Erlebnis mit ein paar Verbesserungsmöglichkeiten, die den Aufenthalt noch angenehmer machen würden.
