I was very tired and very sick or I would not have stayed even one night. The lobby had an odd smell. The room smelled old. The bathroom had black places on the grout around the tub. My linens were clean and the carpet looked clean. Patricia at the front desk was kind to me. The side door did not lock and the grounds were littered with cigarette butts and trash. I would never cc stay there again.

Stay here whenever I visit family in Saraland and will stay again. This stay I had a room on the first floor and prefer 2nd or 3rd floor. Room had sticky areas on carpet, carpet needed to be vacuumed, some rust, stick on silver molding around closet door coming off. Never had these issues on other floors on other stays. Still a very nice hotel to stay though and will continue to stay here and recommend

Room felt neglected smelled of smoke I am allergic to cigarette smoke. I reserved a non smoking room. The room Was not clean. The lady at the desk could not find my reservation. And told me that somebody else had checked in already.

The room was ok, I don't prefer handicap rooms. The exit door was right next to my room, it would not shut, so it was physically open. I had a hard time with the card to get into the room, someone had to show me.

We won't be returning. We feel this has deteriorated since first coming here in 2021. Too many construction workers taking up double spaces with trucks w/trailers, loud trucks starting their vehicle next to our 1st floor window. Just dont feel safe there any longer.

We have been staying at this hotel twice a year since 2021 and it was the worst trip this past November. There have been construction crews out in the parking lot drinking and sometimes have to ask management to quiet them down. This last trip as we were walking out the side door, a man came running in to the hotel when we opened the door because he was being chased by two other men, and this guy was bleeding from his face. Also we were given room 101 on the main floor which is next to the picnic table area where these workers hang ou to drink in the evening. There was an exposed tack strip on the floor walking into the bathroom where the carpet meets the tile. Was the worst experience and we won't be going back even though the price is the cheapest. Also, when certain employee is working the desk, the reception area reeks of marijuana. When he is not there, the smell is not there.
